Labor Villa Stoddard
The VILLA STODDARD LABORATORY takes its name from the place where it is located, a 19th century villa surrounded by a park of imposing and rare trees in the South Tyrolean town of Merano. The villa' is in fact the residence of the PIESCH family, who have been passing on healing knowledge and laboratory practice for more than four generations.
The family tradition originated in the Oder region (then Austro-Hungarian Empire). And after living in four different countries, they finally landed in Merano in 1967.
In the course of their pilgrimage, the phytotherapeutic experience was also enriched with knowledge, multiple stimuli and novel syntheses. Traditions and cultural influences have amalgamated in the melting pot of this family: herbal galenics, homeopathy, flower therapy, spagyria and modern plant research.
Stoddard preparations are not based on static formulas, but are the result of continuous evolution due to the changes that have taken place in the human organic terrain over the last 40 years. The change in morbid manifestations linked to a more degraded environment and more stressful and alienating living conditions must, in fact, also be matched by a change in the health mixtures formed on an exclusively natural basis; the man of the end of the millennium is constitutionally different from the man of just 50 years ago.
It is precisely with this attention to grasping the signs of change and the help that nature has always given us to restore balance, that the work of the Piesch family takes place, in particular that of the 'head of the laboratory', Peter, and the 'heart of the laboratory', Elena.
